Canadian International Development Scholarships 2030
The Canadian International Development Scholarships 2030 (BCDI 2030) program aims to strengthen the social and economic development of women and men, particularly women, from 26 eligible Francophonie and Commonwealth countries, as well as other Small Island Developing States.
Funded by Global Affairs Canada and implemented by the consortium of Colleges and Institutes Canada and Universities Canada, the $80 million program supports the education, training and empowerment of thousands of women and men who wish to contribute to the development of their country.
The eight-year program (2022-2030) provides quality education and training opportunities, including technical and vocational training, with the aim of reducing inequality in access to higher education. It aspires to train women and men leaders who will act as agents of change and positively influence their communities.
