Merck Canada Indigenous Student Scholarship

Program

The objective of the Merck Canada Indigenous Student Scholarship is to provide financial assistance and support to Indigenous students who wish to or who are currently pursuing higher education.

This scholarship will support students that are entering or already enrolled in their first Bachelor degree. Up to eight (8) scholarships will be available and are valued at $5,000 CAD. The program will be capped at 60 applications.

The program will be launched on March 5, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. EST. To apply for the scholarship you will need to create a user profile. Completed applications must be submitted by April 5, 2024, at 9:00 am EST.

Eligibility

An eligible applicant must:

• Identify as Status Indian, Non-status Indian, Inuit, or Métis;
• Be a Canadian citizen or a Permanent Resident of Canada;
• Be entering or returning to full-time studies in a first Bachelor (undergraduate program) in the 2024-2025 academic year;
