Olympia's Gift Scholarship Fund
The Olympia's Gift Scholarship Fund is committed to empowering students of African descent pursuing post-secondary studies in business or entrepreneurship. The fund offers scholarships to help cover tuition. Awards are granted based on merit.
The scholarship is awarded as follows:
- Six scholarships, each valued at $2,500 Canadian for one academic year, are available to eligible students pursuing their first bachelor’s degree or first diploma-level program.
Note: Only the first 25 submitted applications will be accepted for consideration for the scholarship. The program launches on Thursday, March 12 at 1:00 pm EST. To apply for the scholarship, you will need to create a user profile.
Eligibility
You are eligible if you:- Are of African descent (have at least one parent whose ancestry originates in the Black ethnic groups of Africa, including Afro-Caribbean and Black Latin America)
- Are starting or continuing studies in a field related to business or entrepreneurship, including (but not limited to) commerce, finance, accounting, economics, management, and marketing.
- Are entering or returning to full-time studies in a first bachelor or diploma program in the 2026-2027 academic year.
- Have a minimum cumulative average of 80% or equivalent over the last three terms of available marks.
