RBC Reimagine Scholarship

Two application periods:

April 13 – June 4, 2026
The RBC Reimagine Scholarship 2026 program will accept the first 500 submitted applications per application period. If 500 applications have been submitted prior to application deadline of 1 p.m. EST on June 4th, 2026, the portal will close, regardless of the date.

August 31 – October 8, 2026
If 500 applications have been submitted prior to second application deadline of 1 p.m. EST on October 8th, 2026, the portal will close, regardless of the date.

The RBC Next Step Scholarships are a collection of three scholarships designed to support Canadian learners and youth at every stage of their educational and career journeys.


As part of RBC’s ambition of equipping people with the skills for a thriving future, the RBC Reimagine Scholarship aims aims to provide financial support for individuals ages 25+ seeking reskilling opportunities to grow in their current career or transition into a new field/industry with strong job growth prospects.


Up to 100 scholarships valued at $1,500 or $5,000 CAD will be granted to individuals over the age of 25 at time of application, who demonstrate financial need and who are resuming studies after a break of three years or more.


You are eligible if you:

  • able to demonstrate financial need.
  • 25 years or older.
  • entering or currently enrolled in part-time or full-time studies after a gap of at least three years since completing your last degree, diploma, or certificate.
  • a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada.
  • active in the workforce or seeking employment (not retired).
  • are not an RBC employee or the dependent of an RBC employee.
