RBC, RBC Foundation® and RBC Foundation USA have committed $2 billion by 2035 to fund innovative programs across three ambition areas; support the transition to a net-zero economy, equip people with the skills for a thriving future, and drive more inclusive opportunities for prosperity.


Through the Skills for a Thriving Future ambition area, the RBC Reimagine Scholarship aims to provide financial support for individuals ages 25+ seeking reskilling opportunities to grow in their current career or transition into a new field/industry with strong job growth prospects.

Up to 100 scholarships valued at $1,500 or $5,000 CAD will be granted to individuals over the age of 25 at time of application, who demonstrate financial need and who are resuming studies after a break of three years or more.


You are eligible if you:

  • able to demonstrate financial need.
  • 25 years or older.
  • entering or currently enrolled in part-time or full-time studies after a gap of at least three years since completing your last degree, diploma, or certificate.
  • a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada.
  • active in the workforce or seeking employment (not retired).
  • are not an RBC employee or the dependent of an RBC employee.

TWO application periods in 2026:
April 13 – June 4, 2026
August 31 – October 8, 2026
