RBC Future Launch Scholarship for Black Youth
The 2025 RBC Future Launch Scholarship for Black Youth awards 20 scholarships worth up to $10,000 annually (for up to 4 years) to Black students across Canada.
Through the scholarship, Black youth will be supported in achieving their goals by receiving financial and mentorship support from RBC and our community partners.

Scholarship Eligibility Requirements
Students nominated for the scholarship by a community partner must meet the following scholarship eligibility requirements:
- You are a Black-identifying Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident, or have proof of status as a Protected Person or Convention Refugee from Immigration and Citizenship Canada (claimants are not eligible).
- You are between the age of 15-29 years old.
- You are either:
- A high school student entering 11th or 12th grade in the 2024-2025 academic year, or
- A student enrolled in post-secondary studies in the 2024-2025 academic year.
- Note: If you are currently enrolled in post-secondary studies at the time of the scholarship nomination, you must be pursuing your first post-secondary degree or diploma.
- You are not an RBC employee or a dependent of an RBC employee;
- You aspire to post-secondary studies at the vocational, college diploma or bachelor degree level. Note: Graduate programs, such as Master's or Doctoral degrees, are not eligible.
- You have been nominated by one of the following Scholarship Community Partners:

- Council of Canadians of African & Caribbean Heritage
- Épelle-Moi Canada
- ELITE Program for Black Youth
- Ethos Lab
- Frontlines
- Groupe 3737
- Liberty For Youth
- Ottawa Community Housing Foundation
- Regina Open Door Society
- The CEE Centre for Young Black Professionals
- The Centre for Resilience and Social Development
- The PREP Academy
- Truly Alive Youth and Family Foundation Inc.
- Umoja Community Mosaic
- Visions of Science
- YMCA Canada (select member associations across Canada)
