IMPORTANT NOTICE: This call for proposal is limited to Canadian universities, it is not open to individuals.

The Canadian Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Scholarships program (QES) was created to improve global talent exchange between Canada and other nations. The program aims to develop the next generation of innovative leaders and community builders by providing enriched academic, professional and cross-cultural experiences and by facilitating lasting local and global community engagement.

Following five very successful Canadian Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Scholarships program (QES) calls for proposals through which 106 projects managed by 46 Canadian universities have been funded, Universities Canada is pleased to announce a sixth call for proposals.

QES 2024 will support projects that focus on health, education, social and economic development, while enhancing academic diplomacy. Projects will support international study, research or internships for outbound Canadian students and/or study and research for inbound international graduate students.  All QES funded activities must be for academic credit/recognition.

The program will require all scholars to participate in leadership development and community engagement activities and in the network of Queen Elizabeth Scholars.
