Through the Skills for a Thriving Future ambition area, the RBC Elevate Scholarship supports individuals aged 17 – 29 who demonstrate financial need to attend post-secondary education or skills training Up to 40 scholarships will be granted for a first bachelor, applied bachelor, or diploma (e.g. certificate or diploma program). Scholarships are valued at:
- $15,000 CAD per year for bachelor studies
- $8,000 CAD per year for diploma studies
- $2,000 CAD per year for CÉGEP technical training (3-year programs)
Who can apply:
You are eligible if you:
- able to demonstrate financial need through the self-reported financial need assessment included in the application form.
- are between the ages of 17-29 years old.
- accepted into or attending your first full-time undergraduate degree or diploma program at a college, university or polytechnic institute in Canada.
- a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada; or have proof of status as a Protected Person or Convention Refugee from Immigration and Citizenship Canada (claimants are not eligible).
- not an RBC employee or the dependent of an RBC employee.
What can you apply for:
Programs must be at least two years in duration, and you must have at least one (1) year remaining in your program of study at the time of application (expected graduation date of Spring 2027 or later).

application deadline: March 26 at 1 p.m. EST
Only 500 submitted applications will be accepted for review. If 500 applications have been submitted prior to the application deadline, the portal will close, regardless of the date.
